Administration and Operations
Overview
The Administration and Operations section provides leadership, technical and administrative support, and dissemination services for all activities conducted at the RCU. The section is organized with coordinators, a Project Manager, specialists, and professional and support staff.
Three coordinators are assigned to this section: Assistant Director, Business Manager, and IT Manager. The coordinators serve as the liaisons between the RCU and the sponsoring agencies, local education agencies, and/or business and industry. They determine the scope, design, and delivery of communication/public relations products and services, information technology services, printing and dissemination activities, and fiscal and human resources management. They supervise specialists, professional and support staff, and student workers and provide oversight of all products and services.
The Project Manager for the print shop oversees all activity regarding print services including the research, acquisition, and maintenance of all equipment and technology in the print shop and work flow timelines. He supervises the Print Shop Assistant.
Specialists (Multimedia and IT) provide necessary technical assistance in the areas of information technology, training media, video, Blackboard Learning Systems, graphic arts support, web development, and public relations.
Editors provide expertise in technical writing, editing, training, and graphic design support.
Graphic Artist provides expertise in graphic art and design for technical and public relations media.
Support staff (Operations Assistant/Media Specialist, Business Office Assistant, Receptionist/Mailroom, and Print shop Assistant) provide administrative assistance for general operations, the business office, media center, print shop, reception, and the mail room.
