RCU Media Center
The RCU Media Center, in partnership with the Mississippi State University, provides the opportunity for all career and technical and workforce personnel in the state of Mississippi access to a wealth of resources.
A collection of resources that includes:
- Over 2,000,000 volumes
- Over 18,000 journal titles
- Over 6,000 electronic subscriptions
- Research guides
- Citation guides
- Government information
- Instructional Media Center
Training Manuals
We house a large collection of technical training manuals and videos. A copy of each manual and video is available for checkout to any patron. Generic manuals for industries in Mississippi may be printed at no cost by contacting your local community college workforce representative. For other patrons, manuals may be printed for a nominal fee.
Instructional Resources
The RCU offers many unique instructional resources. Our media center offers books, videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs, resource manuals, posters, and other visual aids for checkout.
Curricula
Standards- and research-based career and technical curricula are available for free download.
How do you access the resources?
Become a Patron of the RCU Media Center
All career and technical personnel in Mississippi are eligible to become patrons of the RCU Media Center. Patrons will have access not only to the RCU Media Center collection but also to all of the Mississippi State University Libraries. Mississippi industry personnel may become patrons by contacting their local community/junior college workforce representative.
To obtain a Patron ID, please complete our enrollment form. Once you have a Patron ID, simply go to http://nt.library.msstate.edu to view the available resources.
- Select the "Online Catalog" link to access the RCU and MSU Libraries resources available for checkout.
- To access the MSU Libraries electronic resources such as journals, magazines, and newspapers search indexes and databases go to the MAGNOLIA website http://nt.library.msstate.edu/magnolia/.
